2021 - Tina & Basil on the road - Germany - A wee walk through the historic Schlosspark Dieskau

Tina & Basil Wolfrhine visited the Renaissance-Schloss Dieskau near Halle a. d. Saale in Saxony-Anhalt/Germany again and had a lovely wee walk through the historic park.

The park was built from 1778 to 1784 in the style of an English landscape garden. The park had various ponds, canals, monuments, wooden bridges, an integral bath house and buildings typical of the park.

Several objects were build in a Chinese style, such as an arch bridge, a tea house and a water house in the large mill pond. The floodplain area of the Reide River was included in the park design.

During the years, the park has been neglected and the wildness of the nature createtd her own design of this lost place.

Recultivation began in 1993 and creating today's art and culture gem - a place of rest and relaxation.

Gaby joined the tour and took a few amazing photos.
